Talk to Neighbors

Not only will meeting the neighbors give you a good idea of whether you will be compatible, but neighbors will disclose material facts that a seller might conveniently forget.  Drive around the neighborhood and take a hard look - are the lawns manicured and well-kept or overgrown?  Are there junk cars parked on the lots or discarded furniture at the curb?  You can tell a lot about a neighborhood by driving through it.

Rogue Sportsman's Realty has been selling Gold Beach homes since 1967.  There is much that they already know about your neighborhood.  Ask your RS Realty expert broker about the history of the neighborhood - how often do homes become available?  When was the last time the home you are considering purchasing was on the market?  Why is the current resident selling?

Upon arriving in Gold Beach I went to work for my father-in-law, National Basketball Hall of Famer, "Laddie" Gale, at Sportsman's Realty, Inc.. He taught me the business and so much more about people. To him honesty went without saying and ethical behavior was essential. The firms' reputation was built on this, and when he retired in 1981, we made a pledge to maintain that reputation. In 2004 the firm became Rogue Sportsman's Realty, and I stepped back to being a broker and Dante Concetto, a long time friend and agent took over the ownership and running of the company.
